Arizon Unleashes The G.R.I.T. & A.X.I.S. 4WD Canopy Power Control Systems

Arizon Off-Grid will next week unveil two brand new slimline power control systems for the 4WD and tradie ute canopy market at Melbourne Caravan & Camping Leisurefest, Sandown Racecourse, September 18.

The Arizon 4X4 Off-Grid G.R.I.T. (Gridless. Roaming. Integrated.Technology.) and A.X.I.S. (Arizon. Xtreme. Integrated. System.) power control systems are our first 4WD and ute power system, designed, developed, and engineered here in Melbourne utilising our award winning and Victron Energy components.

Following 10 years of successfully developing industrial off-grid applications as well as being the supplier of choice to the Australian caravan industry, we are very pleased to now offer a premium power solution for Australia’s adventure seekers and tradesmen and women.

The G.R.I.T. and A.X.I.S. unique design offers a drop-in, slide-out solution compatible with most canopies used across Australia, making it ideal for both new installations and retrofits. The slide-out functionality enables easy access for maintenance, repair,or adding to a new replacement vehicle.

Optional integration of the Victron Energy GX LTE 4G module allows for remote system monitoring, GPS tracking, and real-time support in the field from our technical service experts.

The new Arizon 4X4 Off-Grid G.R.I.T. and A.X.I.S. slimline slideout 12V power control system will provide 4WDers and tradies with a world class system to help them work, rest and play.

The G.R.I.T. and A.X.I.S. power control systems come in a space saving slimline metal housing that not only slides out, but is also portable, and can be mounted in the work vehicle during the week and when the time comes to get off-road, can be mounted in the 4WD.

“When we started to design and develop this system, it made sense for us to use Victron Energy components, as we have proven with industrial and our award winning caravan industry solutions, when it comes to off-grid power there is no better,” said Arizon Executive Director, Roy Ding.

“It was essential that our G.R.I.T. and A.X.I.S. systems could cater for tradies, the weekend warrior, and those that want to be off-grid full-time in their 4WD, and we have done that. 

“Users can install the G.R.I.T. or .A.X.I.S. wherever it best suits their vehicle setup, and if they upgrade their 4WD, the system can easily slide out and be transferred into their new vehicle with minimal fuss, saving them thousands of dollars in purchasing a new system.

“The Arizon 4X4 Off-Grid systems are powerful, robust, slimline and easy to use with its 7inch touch screen control display.

“We wanted to ensure whether it is a tradie working hard on the tools during the week and needing a system to keep his or her tools charged, and hitting the trails on the weekend, or those that want to venture off-grid on a more permanent basis, could do so with ease with our Arizon 4X4 Off-Grid power control system.” 

The Arizon 4X4 Off-Grid G.R.I.T. and A.X.I.S. power control systems are built at our Melbourne headquarters and utilises our own 12V 300Ah lithium battery in the G.R.I.T. system and our new superior Arizon NEXUS 12V 460Ah lithium battery for the A.X.I.S. system, to power the dream of tradies and 4WDers, no matter if the adventure is a weekend away or weeks at a time.

Mr Ding said when matched together with Arizon Off-Grid’s high efficient solar panels or portable solar, 4WDers and tradies can harness the power of the sun to power their work tools during the week and when they go off-road cooking up a storm or making a cuppa.
